You can chat to Aura in the My O2 app and on our Help & Support pages. Aura can give you personalised support and more general advice 24/7. For example, Aura can help you understand your bill, let you know how much data you’ve got left, help with roaming questions and provide network support. We’re always looking to improve Aura, so you can get the support you need.

Chat to Aura by typing on the keypad or speaking while pressing the blue button. If Aura can’t give you an answer, just tap the “?” icon to see a list of topics you can get help with. Or, ask Aura to transfer you to one of our advisors. We’re available from 7am to 11pm, seven days a week. So it’s easier than ever to get help with your O2 account.

What can Aura tell me about my account? Collapsed link

In the My O2 app, Aura can tell you about your Pay Monthly account. That includes how much data you have left, how much your bill is this month, or why your bill’s higher or lower than normal.

What questions can I ask Aura? Collapsed link

You can ask Aura questions about billing, roaming, payments, new products and more. Try asking:

  • Can I use my phone abroad?
  • What is a Bolt On?
  • Can I get a Family Plan?
  • When can I upgrade?
  • Can I change my tariff?

What is the My O2 app? Collapsed link

The My O2 app gives you more control over your O2 account. You’ll be able to check how much data you’ve got left, see your recent charges, add Bolt Ons and more. 

If you’re on Pay Monthly, we’ll set up your My O2 account automatically. You just have to enter the username and password we gave you when you joined O2. If you’re on Pay As You Go, you’ll need to create an account first.

You can keep your account secure with a four digit pin, and on some devices you can even sign in using your fingerprint.

Can I use the app without logging in? Collapsed link

Yes. You won’t be able to do things like checking your data allowance or adding Bolt Ons, but there are some features you can use without signing in.

You can ask the O2 Community a question, so that other O2 customers can help you. Or you can take a look at our help and support pages to find the answer to your question.

You can check the coverage in your area.

You can take a look at our O2 Guru pages, chat to an O2 Guru online or book an appointment in your local store. They’ll be able to help you with anything from setting up your phone to keeping your kids safe online.

What can I use the My O2 app for? Collapsed link

If you’re on Pay Monthly you can:

  • check how many minutes, texts and data you have left
  • see details of your tariff and change your tariff
  • check your Device Plan if you’re on O2 Refresh
  • check your upgrade options and complete an upgrade
  • add a Bolt On
  • pay your bill quickly, using our secure card wallet – just tick a box and it’ll remember your card details for next time
  • see your itemised charges since your last bill
  • view your fully itemised bill and see who you’ve been calling and texting by name
  • get notifications on the homepage to let you know when you're running low on minutes, texts and data
  • change your billing address
  • check your coverage
  • find hints and tips to help you get the most from your iPhone.

If you’re on Pay As You Go, you can:

  • check your balance
  • see details of your tariff
  • check how many minutes, texts and data you have left
  • see your calling plan prices
  • see your Bolt Ons
  • call us to top up

If you’re on Pay Monthly, you’ll have been given your username and password when you joined us. If you’ve forgotten them, just go to the My O2 sign in page and click ‘Help me sign in’. 

If you’re on Pay As You Go, it’s easy to sign up for My O2. If you’ve forgotten your login details, go to the My O2 sign in page and click ‘Register now’. 

Once you’ve signed in on your phone or tablet, you’ll be able to set up a pin. Or on certain devices, you’ll be able to sign in using your fingerprint. So it’s quick and easy to get onto the app.

Sign in with your username and password. If you're a Pay Monthly customer you'll have been given this when you joined us and don't worry if you've forgotten these, we can give you a reminder – just click SIGN IN HELP.

If you are a Pay As You Go customer you can sign up quickly and easily for My O2 at www.o2.co.uk/register.

To make it even easier for you, once you have signed in, you can set up a memorable PIN so that you can use this each time to get even quicker access to the app. If you sign out of the app, you will need to sign in again with your username and password and reset your PIN.
